It is a new year, and all adult does are bred. all 13!!  We are counting down to kidding season which starts on the farm the first week of March through the end of May, with the first 10 due in March.  A couple of girls took their time teasing the boys so we finish out !!  We have a waiting list for the Mini Nubians, Pygmies and Nigerian Dwarfs.

If you are interested in being added to the waiting list, please send me an email with breed and sex, and any other details.

We are also putting in new barns and the chickens have their palace, and the girls have their barns.  We are still working on the boys barns and the mini horse barn.  We are always making improvements, and next year have nursery barns and a milking and feed barn planned.

We are beginning our goat milk soap and lotions line and will be adding it to our site for purchase in the next couple months.  I am really excited to make these available.  Goats milk is incredibly gentle and moisturizing for your skin!  Everyone can benefit from using unprocessed handmade goat milk soap. Goat milk is wonderful for people with dry or sensitive skin, or conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.  Goats milk contains high levels of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids, Vitamins, Minerals, and lots of Cream for moisturizing!  Why do these thing matter in your skin products?

  • The lactic acid (alpha-hydroxy acid) helps remove dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. This leaves new cells on the surface of your skin that are smoother and younger looking.
  • Goat milk is particularly high in Vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue, and maintain healthy skin. Studies have proven that soaps and creams made with Vitamin A reduce lines and wrinkles, control acne, and provide some psoriasis relief.
  • It contains important minerals for the skin such as selenium.
  • Selenium is believed to have an important role in preventing skin cancer. Selenium can also help prevent damage to the skin from excessive time in the sun.
